Sounds great, I've been reading some of the past drama on this unit over at the gear page. How are you able to record the Theta Pro? I'd really like to try one out but not sure how to integrate it into my PC / DAW.

I ordered a set of the Revs to try. I got a Charvel SoCal that came with Duncan Distortions I’m kind of meh on. Was going to swap in a Duncan JB but wanted to try something different.

Can you tell me if the unit you have the pro version has the “Shot Of Theta” and “Shot of Dry” presets you were playing on the Evensted music and Choptones video with you playing the MSX? Do those presets only come with the Michael Sweet units? Also do you know off hand if the new units ship with the “Van Dirty “ and “Wasted Chorus” presets? Thanks for any help! Your awesome tones and playing are the reason I’m buying one of these units! I’m just wanting to see if I can get all I need from one of the smaller less expensive units.

Nice! What are your thoughts on using the Pitch Shifter Detune to fatten / widen the guitar tone; maybe panning Pitch Shift around 20, Direct Pan around 80 for separation, and the Pitch Shift Mix around 50?

Aweome preamp. It did so much, it was criminal. Mine fried once just before the warranty expired. I got it fixed and it's been good for the last 30 years, aside from the LCD backlight.

Yeah...I think my search is over (hopefully LOL)...I think I'm going to change out the 81 to a Hot 70s and then put the REV set in my passive guitars.

My main guitar has an 81 in the bridge, but my other guitars are passive. Looking at changing out the 81 for a Hot 70 and putting the REV set in my other guitars. I really like Zakk Wylde's tone, but I also love the 80s Warren Dimartini, EVH tones. As long as these will do great pinch harmonics (I know it's technique, but the 81 and Duncan Distortion seem to make them easier).

My #1 guitar has an 81 in the bridge. My first active pickup. I've grown to like it as it gets great pinch harmonics when I need it. I'm a big Zakk Wylde fan and love his tone so I was thinking of putting them in a singlecut, but the thought of changing all the electronics and needing a battery...IDK. Plus I have a Scott Ian King V with Duncan Distortions which also get pinch harmonics pretty easily, but I will say I do also love that spongy EVH and Warren Dimartini 80s hard rock tones. I also love getting great cleans. I recently listened to a band called Animal Drive and their album "Bite!" and that dude's guitar tones are amazing. It sounds like he's using actives and a tone similar to ZW, but in all his videos he's playing passives. So all that to say...I'm thinking of changing out the 81 to a Hot 70s and looking at maybe putting this REV set in my other passive guitars. We play hard rock and classic metal. Our bassist thinks my tone needs to be warmer. So do you think these would handle my needs and be able to sound thick, warm, bitey and great pinch harmonics? Thanks!

Awesome shredding! How you liking that dk24 ht over time? The guitar looks awesome but stock pick ups don’t sound so great. I’ve read people knock the quality control and tuning on the DKs. Have you noticed any of that?

I have the H2A in the bridge of a Squier Stratocaster with an SPC and EXG that I like a lot. It is a little more "old school" than the Fender Strat I have an H1A in. Both guitars sound great, as do the ones with actives.

I'm pretty blazed at the moment and for a second thought you got a MIJ Guthrie... Cool shit as always.

Had a couple shots at one, never did pick one up. The one at the local shop had a bad nut and a chipped board, so I was not excited about grabbing it.

Why does everyone feel the need to mix kick drums so loud?

I have a few guitars w/ the 57/66's and Fat 55's which I love these two sets which is why they're the only EMG's I have, but these Revelations have peaked my interest. Might have to get a set, might put them in one of my Ibanez Rg's..
